- Education and Examination Workgroup report related to HB 2059, 86 th Legislature, Regular Session, 2019, and whether the required human trafficking prevention training should be accepted for continuing education hours for license holders.
- H. Discussion and possible action regarding HB 2059, 86th Legislature, Regular Session, 2019, and whether the required human trafficking prevention training should be accepted for continuing education hours for license holders.
- I. Discussion and possible recommendation on the proposed amendments to existing rules at 16 Texas Administrative Code (TAC), Chapter 121, §§121.10, 121.21, 121.22, 121.70, 121.75, and new §121.71, regarding the Behavior Analysts program. The proposed amendments establish standards and responsibilities for delivering behavior analysis services by license holders who choose to provide their services using telehealth. This agenda item includes discussion of the public comments received on the proposed amendments and new section.
- J. Discussion and possible action to assign topics for consideration to workgroups:
- (1) Refer to Licensing Workgroup: review the Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board’s (QABA®) Qualified Behavior Analyst (QBA ®) Certification to make a recommendation to the advisory board about QABA® as a certifying entity for behavior analysts and about QBA® certification as a requirement for a behavior analyst license.
- (2) Refer to Licensing Workgroup: review the Behavior Intervention Certification Council (BICC) Board Certified Autism Professional (BCAP) credential to make a recommendation to the advisory board about BICC as a certifying entity for behavior analysts and about BCAP certification as a requirement for a behavior analyst license.

The Behavior Analyst Advisory Board will accept public comments for the February 26, 2021 meeting.
Written comments must be submitted to Board.Comments@tdlr.texas.gov no later than 12:00 p.m. on February 25, 2021. Comments will be provided to the Board members for their review prior to the meeting but will not be read publicly during the public meeting.
If you wish to address the Board during the public meeting, please provide your contact information to Board.Comments@tdlr.texas.gov by 12:00 p.m. on February 25, 2021. During the meeting, you will receive an email with a link to join the meeting. You will be given up to three (3) minutes to speak. The Presiding Officer may reduce the time provided for public comments based on the number of requests received. Ensure that you have a reliable connection and clear audio.
