Discussion and possible recommendation on the proposed amendments to existing rules at 16 Texas Administrative Code (TAC), Chapter 98, §§98.10, 98.20, 98.21 - 98.23, 98.26, 98.70, 98.100, 98.104, 98.106, 98.108, 98.110, 98.112, 98.114; and proposed new rule at §98.116, regarding the Motorcycle and ATV Operator Safety program. The proposed rules address new requirements for motorcycle schools, instructors, and courses. This agenda item includes discussion of the public comments received on the proposed rules.

The Motorcycle Safety Advisory Board will accept public comments for the July 19, 2021 meeting.

Written comments must be submitted to no later than 12:00 p.m. on July 16, 2021. Comments will be provided to the Board members for their review prior to the meeting but will not be read publicly during the public meeting.
