This notice is a reminder that Motorcycle School Quarterly Reports are due to TDLR no later than the seventh day after each quarterly reporting period ends. (Note: Quarters end on Mar 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31 each year.)
The motorcycle school reporting requirements and standards are detailed in Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 98, Section 98.50. Quarterly reports =must contain:
- the number and types of courses provided during the quarter;
- the number of persons who took each course during the quarter;
- the number of instructors available to provide training under the school’s program during the quarter;
- the length of time each student had to wait before space in a course became available; and,
- the number of persons on a waiting list for a course at the end of the quarter
Schools must use the department-created Quarterly Report Template (Excel) for reporting.
To repeat: Quarterly Reports are due to the department no later than the seventh day after the quarter ends. Quarterly reporting periods end on Mar 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31 .
After completing the form, save it with a unique file name (example: 01.25.2024 Johns Motorcycle School) and upload the form to our online portal. (View a sample report.)
