Renew a Registered Accessibility Specialist (RAS) License

Continuing Education Hours

Continuing education should be completed during the year before your license expires.

For example, if your license expires on 12/1/2025, you may begin taking your continuing education courses on 12/1/2024.

If you have not certified that you have completed the continuing education (by signing the renewal form or completing the continuing education box online) your renewal will be delayed, and additional fees may be incurred.

Renewal Application

You can submit your renewal application online.

The renewal fee(s) is as follows:

• On or before your expiration date — $250
• 1 to 90 days late — $375
• 90 days to 18 months late — $500

If you are renewing over 18 months late and before 3 years late, you must complete and submit the Request to Executive Director for Expired License Renewal. Licenses expired more than 3 years cannot be renewed, and you must apply for a new license, including any applicable examination.
