Advisory Board Vacancies

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation oversees 41 licensing programs. Of those, 32 programs have an advisory board responsible for providing important technical knowledge and industry expertise and giving the Commission and TDLR staff real-world insight. The board members include licensees, representatives from regulated businesses and industries, public members and other professionals.

Advisory board members are appointed by the chairman of the Texas Commission on Licensing and Regulation. There is no financial compensation for membership; however, members who are selected to serve enjoy great satisfaction in knowing the significance of their membership and their impact on the professions they serve.

How to Apply

If you’re interested in becoming a member of an advisory board, please submit an application. If you are interested in applying for the Texas Industrialized Building Code Council or the Podiatric Medical Examiners Advisory Board, please visit the Texas Governor’s website at Appointments. If you have any questions about the board application process, please contact the Office of Strategic Communication at advisory.boards@tdlr.texas.gov.
