Senate Bill 1531, passed by the 86th Legislature, amended Occupations Code, Chapter 802, relating to the eligibility for certain occupational licenses and the use of a personโs criminal history as grounds for certain actions related to the license. Senate Bill 1531 and the changes to Chapter 802 became effective September 1, 2019.
