Pflugerville Driving School Closes Unexpectedly; Students Should Contact TDLR As Soon As Possible

AUSTIN – Pflugerville Driving School, located at 3000 Joe DiMaggio Blvd Ste 6, in Round Rock appears to have closed without properly notifying students and parents, leaving students without access to the driver education courses they paid for.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, which regulates driver training courses and providers, is working to obtain student records and collect on the surety bond that schools are required to post as part of their licensing requirements. The surety bond is used to reimburse students who have paid for courses they were unable to complete because of a school closure.

Any parent or student who was affected by the closure should contact TDLR and be prepared to provide the following information:

  • Student’s full name
  • Parent’s full name
  • Parent’s email address
  • Parent’s phone number
  • Parent’s address
  • Student enrollment date
  • Total number of hours of driving course completed
