HB 3012 (89th Texas Legislature, regular session), revised the language in Texas Education Code 1001.352:
- Effective September 1, 2025, before enrolling a student in a driving safety course, Texas Education Code 1001.352 requires Driving Safety Providers to charge each student at least $25.00 for a driving safety course. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in administrative penalties and fees for a provider.
