Barbering and Cosmetology Instructor Examinations Available Until Aug. 31, 2022

Students who are currently enrolled in a barbering or cosmetology instructor course have until August 31, 2022, to take and pass the instructor exam. Barbering and Cosmetology Instructor License Renewals

On or after 09/01/2022, when you attempt to renew your instructor license, TDLR will instead issue a comparable license that allows you to continue to provide services and instruction within the scope of your license.
