The Texas Commission of Licensing and Regulation adopted an amendment to an existing rule at 16 Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 73, ยง73.110, regarding the Electricians program.
The adopted rule amends ยง73.110(b)(4) to reduce, from four to three, the required number of practicum credits that an electrical CTE program must offer.
The adoption justification was published in the August 8, 2025, issue of the Texas Register (50 TexReg 5202). The updated rule chapter will be available in the Texas Administrative Code upon its effective date of August 15, 2025.
