Revised Fees, License Names, and Endorsement Changes

Starting on October 23, 2022, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation will implement revised fees, license names and endorsement changes for the Offender Education Programs. Barbering and Cosmetology Instructor Examinations Available Until Aug. 31, 2022

Students who are currently enrolled in a barbering or cosmetology instructor course have until August 31, 2022, to take and pass the instructor exam.
