Live Televised (Pay-per-View) Event Permit

Do I Need a Permit?

If you intend to televise a live combative sports event and there is a fee is charged to view the event, you must:

• Obtain a permit for the event
• Hold a Texas combative sports promoter license

Application and Fee

Submit a completed Advance Notice Form (PDF) and include the non-refundable application fee of $100.

Tax Reporting and Payment

You will be responsible for paying tax on the ticket sales and other revenue generated from the event.
