Third-Party Website Notices
Required notice to the registered owner and the primary lienholder of a vehicle towed to a vehicle storage facility may be provided on a publicly available website maintained by a TDLR-approved third party if the criteria set by Texas Occupations Code Section 2303.152(a) and (e) are met. Only vendors approved by TDLR may host online notice postings.

Information for Licensees
When Online Notice May Be Used
A VSF may publish notice on an approved third‑party website when:
- The vehicle is registered in another state
- The owner’s identity cannot be determined
- The registration lacks an address
- The lienholder cannot be reasonably identified
- The vehicle has no license plate or inspection certificate
- Other statutory conditions under Texas Occupations Code Section 2303.152(a) and (e) apply

- Ensure the notice meets all statutory content requirements
