Earn Continuing Education by Proctoring the Practical Test

Are you looking for a rewarding way to earn continuing education (CE) hours while supporting your profession? Licensed Hearing Instrument Fitters and Dispensers now have the opportunity to receive CE credit by serving as proctors for the practical licensing test.

Effective January 1, 2024, updates to TAC ยง112.70 allow licensees to earn continuing education credit for proctoring the practical test. You will earn one CE hour per test date, with a maximum of four hours per 2-year license term.
