Requirements for License Renewal
The following licensees are required to complete the required continuing education hours provided by an accredited mold training provider:
- Mold Assessment Technician – 8 Hours
- Mold Assessment Consultant – 8 Hours
- Mold Remediation Contractor – 8 Hours
- Mold Remediation Worker – 4 Hours
Note: Mold Remediation Workers may also obtain continuing education hours from a licensed mold remediation contractor or a licensed mold remediation company. If continuing education hours are obtained through a licensed mold remediation company, the principle instructor must be a licensed mold remediation contractor.
Reporting Completed Courses
Each individual is responsible for maintaining a record of his or her continuing education experiences. The course completion certificate verifying continuing education hours must be provided to TDLR at the time of renewal.
