Initial Application Fees

• $50 for Practitioners (Class A Barbers, Cosmetology Operators & Specialty license holders)
• $70 for Mini-Establishments
• $78 for Barbering & Cosmetology (“Full-Service”) Establishment, Mobile & Specialty Establishments
• $380 for Barbering & Cosmetology Schools

Renewal Fees for licenses with an expiration date of 09/01/2023 and later

Practitioners (Class A Barbers, Cosmetology Operators & Specialty license holders)

• $50 for On-time Renewals
• $75 for Late Renewals (expired less than 18 months)
• $100 for Late Renewals (expired 18 months to 3 years)

Mini-Establishment licenses expiring on or after 09/01/2023:

• $70 for On-time Renewals
• $105 for Late Renewals (expired less than 18 months)
• $140 for Late Renewals (expired 18 months to 3 years)

Barbering & Cosmetology (“Full-Service”) Establishment, Mobile & Specialty Establishments, Mobile Establishment and Specialty Establishment licenses expiring on or after 09/01/2023:

• $78 for On-time Renewals
• $117 for Late Renewals (expired less than 18 months)
• $156 for Late Renewals (expired 18 months to 3 years)

Barbering & Cosmetology Schools

• $280 for On-Time Renewals
• $420 for Late Renewals (expired less than 18 months)
• $560 for Late Renewals (expired 18 months to 3 years)

**NOTE: Licenses expired for more than 3 years cannot be renewed. The requirements for an initial license must be met, including any applicable fees and examinations.**

Other Fee Changes

• $14 for Law and Rules book (for Books ordered apart from a license)
• $5 Student Transcripts
